Meet Jackie

I was born and raised in Bronx, New York.  At the encouragement of my oldest brother, who already lived in the Tri-Cities, my twin sister and I moved to Washington in 1985.  I quickly fell in love with the region and built a life after graduating from Kamiakin High School in 1987. I have called both Pasco and Kennewick my home for over 33 years.

I have two amazing adult sons that are married and I love spending time with them and my five grandchildren. With all of them residing in the Tri-Cities, it makes this journey exciting to share with them.  They have been so supportive, even walking in my first parade by my side, waving to the crowd and supporting their grandma!

In 2016, I married my husband, Mitch Giddens.  He is my best friend and biggest supporter in everything I do and am working towards.  In December of 2017, we had the opportunity to move into a neighborhood that we both love in Pasco. When we first saw our house, we knew immediately that it would be our home. We love the neighborhood and are proud to be residents of Pasco and Franklin County.

I am proud to be the small business owner of Mail n Stuff in Kennewick.  Being a business owner has its challenges at times, but I love being able to help my employees achieve their educational and financial goals.

As a Flight Attendant/Lead instructor for a regional airline, I take pride in training and mentoring new Flight Attendants by teaching them to know, and live by, the Policies, Procedures, and the Federal Aviation Administration rules and regulations to always ensure passenger safety.I have sixteen (16) years of experience in the Judicial System.

I worked in Benton County District Court for ten (10) years which required extensive knowledge in all departments. I then spent six (6) years as the Chief Deputy Clerk where I trained under the Benton County Clerk.   During this time, I was responsible for the smooth and efficient operations involving all aspects of the Clerk’s Office, in the Clerk’s absence.

The biggest facet of my position in the Clerk’s office was establishing, and always maintaining, positive working relationships with Judges, Attorneys, Law Enforcement, and the Citizens that I served.

I am honored to run for the Franklin County Clerk’s office.  My focus will be delivering results as a leader that honors the judicial system, fosters and promotes internal and external teamwork, adheres to the fiscal integrity of the office while ensuring all processes, procedures, and regulations are properly implemented. I hope you will join me. Please use this website and my campaign Facebook page for the latest news and updates from the campaign.
